Boost Oregon is a nonprofit that equips healthcare teams with evidence-based communication skills to increase trust, address vaccine hesitancy, and improve patient outcomes.
Every day, clinicians and staff face questions, fears, and misinformation about vaccines. Motivational Interviewing (MI) gives healthcare teams the tools to respond with empathy, clarity, and confidence—leading to better conversations and better health outcomes.
As a nonprofit, our mission is simple:
Give every community the knowledge and skills to make informed health decisions.

"I'm not sure vaccines are safe." Every healthcare provider hears this. Most don't know how to respond without triggering defensiveness. Here's the issue: We were trained to educate, not to navigate resistance.
Our Foundations of MI training teaches the #1 skill: How to have vaccine conversations that build trust.

Whether you’re training a small clinic, a statewide public health department, or a full health system, Boost Oregon delivers tailored, evidence-based MI training that works.

If you have ideas on who we should invite as guests, we welcome your suggestions!

Join our community! If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d be happy to discuss opportunities and how you can get involved.

Your tax-deductible donation brings us closer to a world where health decisions are rooted in science.
