Boost Oregon ("we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what information we collect through boostoregon.org and how we use it.
Information we collect. When you fill out a contact or proposal form, register for a training, sign up for our newsletter, purchase from our shop, or enroll in our online course, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, organization, and role. When you make a purchase, payment is processed by our payment processor; we do not store your credit card number. Like most websites, we also collect basic usage data (pages visited, device type, general location) through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
How we use it. We use your information to respond to inquiries, deliver trainings and course access, process orders, issue continuing education certificates, send our newsletter and training announcements, and understand how people use our site so we can improve it. We send marketing emails only with your consent, and every email includes an unsubscribe link.
What we don't do. We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our operations (website hosting, payment processing, email delivery, course platform, scheduling) — each bound to use it only on our behalf — or when required by law.
Continuing education records. If you complete a training or course for CME, CHES, or other continuing education credit, we retain your name, completion date, and credit records as required by our accrediting bodies.
Cookies and advertising. We use cookies for site functionality and analytics. If we run online advertising (including Google Ad Grants), those platforms may use cookies to measure ad performance. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.
Children. Our website and trainings are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices. You may unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing info@boostoregon.org. We'll respond within 30 days.
Security and retention. We take reasonable measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above (or longer where accreditation or legal requirements apply).
Changes. We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
