National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM) and the Northwest Immunization Conference
August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM)! Vaccines are a critical component of preventative health. Whether you are a longtime vaccine advocate or newer to this corner of health and wellness, staying up-to-date with immunization information has never been more important. Protecting ourselves, our families, and our neighbors by building community immunity requires everyone’s participation. Let’s support each other in August and all year long!
To help highlight and celebrate NIAM 2022, Our friends at Immunize Oregon are hosting the virtual Northwest Immunization Conference (NWIC). NWIC offers a unique opportunity to broaden your vaccine knowledge and improve clinical practices. Each day will offer a variety of immunization-related sessions that contribute to a dynamic and robust curriculum dedicated to improving health equity.
